News Package On Weather Awareness In Norman, Oklahoma.

In this package, I spoke with students around the University of Oklahoma campus to see if they knew what to do if severe weather were to occur in the Norman area. I utilized the man-on-the-street interview skills that I learned through my time at Gaylord College. In this package, I got good information into the story, but it would have been better if I found an official person to interview on-camera about it and got some more unique B-Roll shots. I used the Sony Z-150 and the Rode wireless microphones to complete this story and edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.

News Package On The Increase in Prices For Food For Holiday Celebrations.

For this package, I talked to Norman residents about increasing prices for groceries around the holidays. In this story, I got good sound and good shots of the grocery store into the story, but it could have used a little more data and a professional voice. It also could have used a little better camera work. I used the Sony Z-150 and the Rode wireless microphones to complete this story and edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.

This package was shot at the University of Oklahoma’s Holiday Lights celebration on November 19,2025. This story had a lot of good B-Roll and natural sounds. The interviews could have been better shot, and I could have gotten better sound to use in the story. I used the Sony Z-150 and the Rode wireless microphones to complete this story and edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Interview with the OU Botany Club On Their Plant Sale.

This interview covered the OU Botany Club fall sale on October 17,2025. I spoke with the club president about the sale and the turnout from the plant sale. There was most likely a better sound bite that I could have used in the story, or I could have asked better questions for this. I used the Sony Z-150 and the Rode wireless microphones to complete this story and edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Interview About Increasing Gas Prices And How It Impacts Commuting Students.

I spoke with a couple of students who commute to class about the increasing gas prices and how it affects their commute to school. The soundbite from this interview was pretty good. I should have asked the person who wasn’t talking to step off camera or tried to edit her out of this shot, though. I used the Sony Z-150 and the Rode wireless microphones to complete this story and edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.
